1. Router Wifi Not Working Ethernet Does Not Connect

I bought my router fresh in Walk and it offers happen to be working until today. The wifi works well. However, I are incapable to connect via the ethernet to get advantage of faster speeds. I tried all 4 ports and 3 cables. The lights are white/light blue on the router appearing as if they are working, but when I connect to my notebook it possibly just briefly connects ór does not connect at all to the web. As the wifi functions I have got to suppose the internet service and modem are working, and that the issue is usually at the router degree.Please assist!

Jun 24, 2015  Also connected to WiFi are a Nexus 7, a Nexus 5, a Galaxy Nexus, an iPhone and a Chromecast, Router: Cisco EPC3825 I don't know if this should be called a router, it's a cable modem with 4 ethernet ports and WiFi. I'm not familiar with networking technology (and even basic lingo) at all. The wifi works well. However, I am unable to connect via the ethernet to take advantage of faster speeds. The lights are white/light blue on the router appearing as if they are working, but when I connect to my laptop it either only briefly connects or does not connect at all to the internet. So you've got your WiFi connected, but no Ethernet connection? Then you're in the same boat as me. I looked all over the internet for a solution, nothing worked and all was quite complicated.
